The KZN CTC recently assisted five black-owned, small businesses in Newcastle and Ladysmith, to improve their operations. The initiatives focused on business skills and Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.

The KZN CTC attended a tour to three of the best performing firms from this programme in Ladysmith and Newcastle.

The purpose of the tour was two-fold:

• To provide an opportunity to showcase the improvements achieved by these three company’s production and business processes.

• To provide established cluster member firms with an opportunity to collaborate with potential enterprise and supplier development partners. Please join us for an informative and celebratory day.
